Sage 50

Sage 50 is for intended for small and medium sized businesses, particularly those that are growing, wanting to improve control or needing richer information to support business decision making.

Sage 50 is the latest member of a family of products (including Sage Line 50 and Sage Sterling) which has been the preferred choice of accounts software for small and medium sized businesses in the UK since the mid 1980s. Consequently it’s a great match with the needs and concerns of such businesses, and you can be confident of long term support.

It is so widely used that it would be a real surprise if your accountants were not familiar with Sage 50. It is easy to use and so quick to learn, and if you’re recruiting many candidates will already be familiar and confident with it.

There are three different levels in the Sage 50 Accounts family. You can upgrade easily at any time as your business grows or your needs change.  As you add more users, increase your transaction volume, Sage provide an easy upgrade path to Sage 200

All optionally link to other Sage products, for example to pay your staff and ease the pain of dealing with HMRC (Sage Payroll) and plan the future success of your business (Sage Financial Forecasting).

Sage 50 Accounts

Sage 50 Accounts is designed to help you complete all your regular accounts tasks easily and on time. Above all, however, it recognises that you’re not interested in accounts for their own sake, but as a means of managing cash, profitability and the other things that ensure the survival and success of your business.

Sage 50 Accounts Plus

As you business grows and develops Sage 50 Accounts Plus builds on the firm foundations of Sage 50 Accounts by helping you manage job / project costs, customer specific pricing. cheque printing, bill of materials and stock allocation

Sage 50 Accounts Professional

If you’re buying and selling products or trading in foreign currencies, then Sage 50 Accounts Professional adds the sales and purchase order processing and foreign trading tools you will need, and also allows up to 10 users
 
Sage Line 50 has now been replaced by the Sage 50 Suite. Don’t worry though, the accounts software component of the Sage 50 Suite is just an updated version of Sage Line 50, so when you’re ready to upgrade the process is smooth and safe, and all you have to learn is the new features.
