The Sage 200 family is Sage’s preferred range for UK based medium sized businesses and organisations. Sage 200 (and its predecessor Sage Line 100) has been developed and supported by Sage since the late 1980’s.
Sage 200 is very capable “out of the box”, but was also designed with customisation in mind, so it can be adapted to fit your requirements closely. It captures lots of data, all of which can be extracted to give you rich and reliable business information.
Is Sage 200 for you?
To answer that question fully we’ll need to speak to you. When you contact us you’ll be dealing from the outset with the team who implement and support Sage 200, not sales people, so you can be sure of candid answers. As a guide, though, new Sage 200 users often fall into one of the following camps:
- Current Sage 50 users who have started to outgrow it
- New businesses that plan to grow rapidly
- Subsidiaries of foreign companies that need robust UK regulation friendly software
- Businesses reliant on suppliers with question marks against their long term commitment to support
- Businesses with more complex needs for integration or bespoke features
Getting orientated
Sage 200 Financials is the starting point for Sage 200. It includes: sales, purchase and nominal ledgers; cash book; business intelligence; CRM; one user licence.
The most common addition is Sage 200 Commercials. It includes: stock control; sales order processing; purchase order processing; and price book.
There are three more specialist additions: project accounting; bill of materials; manufacturing.
User licences can be added separately for the accounting modules and CRM, and are per concurrent user. Web users, for viewing data and reporting, are much lower cost, but are per named user.
Going further
Please call or email us for an initial discussion, for a web demonstration or to arrange an initial meeting to discuss your requirements in detail.
As we understand your business context, your main aims and the detail of your requirements, we will be able to advise on Sage 200’s suitability. If it is suitable we’ll agree with you a draft plan covering timescales, responsibilities and costs.
